Leeds keen for Becchio talks

Leeds are hopeful of agreeing a new deal with in-form striker Lucchiano Becchio. The Argentinian is currently in a rich vein of form having netted 11 goals this season, with five of those scored in United`s last two home games. Chairman Ken Bates described the striker as a nice guy - and a goalscoring machine. "We have no real problems with Becchio," Bates told Yorkshire Radio. "He wants to stay at the club. "The thing is that his agents live elsewhere and we have language problems. "We are hoping to resolve that."
