Leeds give new contract to Nunez

Leeds United have extended the contract of midfielder Ramon Nunez until the end of the season.The Honduran international, who can also play as a striker, has made two substitute appearances since joining on a short-team deal in August. [LNB]The deal includes the option of another year for the the 25-year-old. [LNB]Nunez recently won his 35th cap for Honduras and is currently in their squad for the Copa America games against Costa Rica and Guatemala. [LNB]His two appearances for Leeds came in the 4-0 home defeat to Cardiff in October and the 4-1 victory at Scunthorpe the same month.
