Leeds have confirmed they will be taking up the option to extend Ramon Nunez's stay at the club. The 25-year-old Honduras international was handed a six-month contract extension in January with a further year's option and he will be returning to Elland Road following his loan spell with Scunthorpe. Manager Simon Grayson said: "He's a talented player and he's proved that by doing well at Scunthorpe so we have decided to exercise that option. "Ramon will come back in the summer with an opportunity to make an impression here." Nunez, initially signed from Deportivo Olim in August 2010, made two substitute appearances for Leeds during the opening half of the season, but he scored three goals in eight games during a loan spell at Glanford Park in April and May.
