Kisnorbo's World Cup dream over

Australia international Kisnorbo was stretchered off in tears in the eighth minute of Monday night's damaging 2-0 home defeat to Millwall with a suspected ruptured Achilles tendon.[LNB]Leeds manager Simon Grayson said: "Unfortunately for Paddy he suffered a severe Achilles injury, which will rule him out of the rest of the season and possibly the World Cup as well.[LNB]"It's a shame because he's been outstanding for us all season.[LNB]"He's been a warrior type, a leader and I'm gutted for the lad because his dream was to play in the World Cup and that looks like it could have been shattered."[LNB]Kisnorbo, 29 this week, has been outstanding in central defence for Leeds this season following his summer arrival on a free transfer from Leicester and his loss is a further blow to the Yorkshire club's automatic promotion hopes.[LNB][LNB]
