Injured trio "making progress"

Leeds manager Simon Grayson is pleased with the progress being made by his three injured first-team players. Striker Billy Paynter has yet to appear following his switch from Swindon due to a shin injury sustained on a pre-season tour of Slovakia while Robert Snodgrass (knee) and Ben Parker (Achilles) have been long-term absentees. Grayson has refused to set timescales on the threesome but added: "All three players are making good progress. Billy and Snoddy had scans this week and they've not shown anything untoward, which is good news and means they can progress towards their re-hab. "As I've said all along, I'm not going to say they'll back on such and such date because we won't be taking any risks. I'll be guided by our physio on that front, but they're all making progress, which is good news."
