Howson not intent on Barnsley retribution
Jonny Howson says revenge will not be on the agenda when Leeds face Yorkshire rivals Barnsley in the midweek derby at Elland Road.
Leeds came unstuck in spectacular fashion at Oakwell in September, going down 5-2, but skipper Howson insists Simon Grayson's side will be approach the game as they do any other in their promotion challenge.
Howson said: "We can't change that. Some people might saw we owe them one, but it's just another chance to get three points. That's how we're looking at it."
Howson added: "Going into this final stretch anything can happen. You saw Forest lose at Scunthorpe last week so there's a long way to go.
"We want to stay in and around it. We'll be looking for a three points against Barnsley."
