Grayson to keep changes to a minimum

Leeds manager Simon Grayson is not expected to make too many changes to his squad for the first-round Carling Cup clash with Lincoln. Grayson is still without summer signing Billy Paynter (shin) and Robert Snodgrass (knee) while fellow forwards Max Gradel and Davide Somma remain suspended. Manchester City midfielder Adam Clayton signed on loan for a month in time to make his debut as a second-half substitute in the opening-day defeat to Derby and will be hoping for a longer run-out against the League Two outfit. Another summer arrival, defender Alex Bruce, could make his first competitive appearance but Grayson may be tempted to rest some of his other new signings after Kasper Schmeichel, Paul Connolly, Fede Bessone, Neill Collins and Lloyd Sam all appeared in a new-look Leeds side against Derby.
