Grayson: JPT tie finely balanced

20 January 2010 11:56
Grayson refused to criticise his players after Joe Anyinsah's 86th-minute winner secured Carlisle a 2-1 win at Elland Road in the first leg of the northern area final. Jason Crowe had earlier cancelled out Graham Kavanagh's opener for the Cumbrians.[LNB]Grayson said: "The tie is finely balanced. We are a goal behind, but we are capable of turning that around. We have to remain positive because we passed the ball around well and created some good chances.[LNB]"It will be interesting to see what tactics Carlisle adopt in the second leg. Will they sit back and try to defend their lead? We have to make sure we don't concede an early goal and that we are hard to beat.[LNB]"We haven't won in the last three games, but we have a group of players who are working hard to put things right. We will go to Spurs in the FA Cup on Saturday and enjoy the occasion."[LNB][LNB]
