Goalkeeper keen to stay a Saint

Davis has been in fine form for Mark Wotte's side this season in a disastrous campaign for the club and has reportedly attracted interest from Leeds. The cash-strapped Saints, currently in administration, will begin next season on minus 10 points, but Davis admits he is happy to stay although it could be out of his control. "I love playing for this football club. I like living in the area and my family is settled here," the 32-year-old told the club's official website. "League One certainly doesn't scare me and I can see myself playing here next season and indeed for the rest of my career. "Football isn't always as simple as that and something might come along which is something that I can't turn away from, but at the same time the sooner someone comes into control the club the sooner I can sort it out."
