Leeds United have confirmed they are looking at Finland international striker Mikael Forssell. Free agent Forssell is on the lookout for a new club after his contract with German side Hannover expired over the summer. The ex-Birmingham and Chelsea man underwent a trial with Championship rivals West Ham United earlier this summer. The striker has now linked up with Leeds for training and Simon Grayson is looking forward to assessing him in person. Andy Keogh joined on loan on Monday, although Grayson remains in the hunt for further recruitment with Luciano Becchio and Davide Somma still on the sidelines along with Billy Paynter. "Mikael is training with us and we'll see how things go," Grayson told the club's official website.
