Ferencvaros Complete Slovenia Tour

Leeds United can confirm its opponents for the outstanding games in Slovenia - with Hungarian side Ferencvaros due to provide the opposition in the final match.

United will open up the tour by facing a Slovenian XI on Wednesday July 10 at the Fazanerija City Stadium and will end the trip with Ferencvaros at the same venue on Tuesday July 16.

Ferencvaros were the Whites opponents in 1968 when the club won their first European trophy, the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Leeds won the two-legged affair 1-0 on aggregate, Mick Jones scoring at Elland Road before a 0-0 draw in Hungary.

More recently, the Hungarian side were managed by former United striker Bobby Davison.

Pre-season matches were already confirmed against Farsley AFC, FC Domzale (Slovenia), Walsall, Stevenage and FC Nurnberg.
