Clayton revels in Leeds move
Leeds' latest signing Adam Clayton has spoken of his joy at completing a loan move to the club.
The 21-year-old Manchester City midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Carlisle, sealed a one-month loan switch to Elland Road in time to make his debut off the substitutes' bench in Saturday's defeat to Derby.
Clayton said: "It was a brilliant moment in my career to come on and play on such a great stage and for such a great club.
"It was a special moment for me, despite the result, but hopefully we can push on up the league.
"I heard a week or so ago that Leeds were going to make some decisions on players and I was one of them.
"I was hoping it would happen and I shot over here as soon as I got the call. I'm delighted to be a Leeds player."
