Cardiff In Talks With O'Brien
Cardiff City could snatch centre-half Andy O'Brien away from Leeds United, as Bluebirds boss Dave Jones steps up his search for a defender. The Republic of Ireland international is currently at Elland Road on loan from Premiership side Bolton Wanderers and has indicated a desire to stay there on a possible permanent deal. But O'Brien, 31, is understood to have held talks with the Bluebirds in the last few days. Cardiff have also been linked with a move for Tottenham centre-back Jonathan Woodgate.
