Boss targets loan signing

Leeds manager Simon Grayson is hoping to boost his squad's promotion push with a loan signing before Saturday's crunch clash at Swansea. Grayson will be without suspended midfielder Bradley Johnson against the Swans, who moved into the second automatic promotion place in midweek. Grayson said: "I've spoken to a couple of managers and we'll see what happens. "It might be that something happens before the weekend, it might be that something happens next week. I'm looking at all our options. "If I don't do anything before the Swansea game, I have players who are more than capable of coming into the side." Johnson has been deployed to good effect in a deeper midfield role in recents weeks, and while Grayson has more attacking midfield options in Sanchez Watt and Lloyd Sam, his squad lacks another more defensive-minded midfielder.
