Beckford worry for Whites

Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford could miss the second-leg of his side's Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern area final at Carlisle. Beckford was withdrawn at half-time in the weekend draw at Hartlepool due to a slight hamstring problem. Leeds manager Simon Grayson said: "His hamstring was tight. It's nothing major, but we're not taking any chances. He could have played on, but we have a lot of games coming up." Grayson is also waiting on the return to fitness of central defender Patrick Kisnorbo, who has missed the last three matches due to a calf injury, and midfielder Neil Kilkenny. Kilkenny has also been sidelined since being forced out of the recent 3-0 defeat at Swindon. Recent new signings Gary McSheffrey and Shane Lowry are both eligible, giving Grayson plenty of options should he choose to rest any of his players ahead of next weekend's league clash at Leyton Orient.
