Bates: We've Turned A Corner

Ken Bates believes the club have turned a corner under new manager Neil Warnock.

The former QPR and Sheffield United boss was appointed last month after Simon Grayson's departure following a run of poor results.

The Whites' defence has received notable criticism this season, but Warnock appears to have drawn some improvement having only conceded one goal in their last three outings.

"On balance, if you look at the three games since Neil took over, our leaky defence has conceded just one goal in three games," he told Yorkshire Radio.

"Overall, I think we've turned a corner. The results on Tuesday, by and large went our way.

"We have reduced the deficit to five points against the play-off places and it could make it interesting going into the run-in."
