Another Fixture Switch For Whites

United have seen yet another of their Championship fixtures rescheduled, with the date of their trip to Kasper Schmeichel's Leicester City having been changed. The game, originally scheduled at the King Power Stadium for Saturday, November 5 will now take place 24 hours later due to a clash with Leicester Tigers RUFC, who host London Irish at nearby Welford Road on the same day. As the Tigers’ fixture has been selected for live TV coverage, United’s game with the Foxes has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 6 (3pm). It follows the Sunday switches for the home game with Cardiff City, now to be played on Sunday, October 30 and the Upton Park test at West Ham United, pencilled in for Sunday, August 21 - both games kicking off at 1.15pm. Two other fixtures originally scheduled for Saturday’s had also been previously moved, with the White Rose derby at Doncaster Rovers now being played on Friday, October 17 and the long trip to Brighton and Hove Albion brought forward a day to Friday, September 23.
