Alnwick Joins On Loan

Spurs 'keeper Ben Alnwick has joined Leeds United on a one-month loan. Alnwick has previously spent time on loan with Luton Town, Leicester City, Carlisle United and Norwich City since joining Tottenham from Sunderland in January, 2007 as well as appearing on three occasions for the London club.With both Leeds' first-choice keepers Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs injured, Grayson already has Jason Brown on loan from Blackburn and he is expected to start at the Riverside later today against Middlesbrough. Alnwick moved to Spurs for £900,000 and made his debut for the North London side in the Carling Cup against Burnley last season. His Premiership debut was also against Burnley.
