Leeds have completed the signing of Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick on a 28-day loan. Alnwick, 22, has been drafted in as cover for injured duo Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs and follows the arrival of Tony Warner, who returned to Elland Road earlier in the week. Jason Brown, on loan from Blackburn, had been the only fit senior goalkeeper at the club with Schmeichel (foot) and Higgs (hamstring) both sidelined. Alan Martin is on a season-long loan at Barrow ,while Alex Cairns is also on the injured list. Former England Under-21 international Alnwick was signed by Tottenham from Sunderland for £900,000 three years ago and has made 22 appearances for the Londoners.
