Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal wants to commit his long-term future to the Magpies following an impressive start to life in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old arrived at St James' Park in a £3million transfer from Paris St Germain during the summer and has caught the eye at the heart of the back four during his first four league appearances.
The Czech Republic international has endured something of a nomadic existence in recent years - having played for three different clubs during the past four years - but is now keen to put down roots on Tyneside.
"I would not be against a longer stay, with my wife we would like to settle down finally," he said.
"So far I have been telling myself that I was doing gradual steps to better clubs and better competitions.
"But now I am playing in the world's best league and I would not mind if I stayed there for a longer time.
"The Premier League has fantastic commitment, fighting spirit and high tempo."
