Lotito aims to keep Ledesma

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is determined to try and keep Argentinian midfielder Cristian Ledesma at the club this summer.

The 27-year-old South American has 12 months on his current contract, but is a reported transfer target for AC Milan.

Lotito told Sky Italia: "We have not put him on the market. In life you make decisions by mutual consent.

"If he were to assume a different position and wanted to leave, then the club would evaluate that, but at the moment the player is not on the market.

"We hope that he'll soon sign a new contract."
