Lazio must learn from Siena mauling: Reja

Lazio coach Edy Reja said Monday his players must learn from their humiliating 4-0 thrashing at Siena on Saturday.
The Romans dropped to seven points behind lead pair AC Milan and Juventus with the defeat and now face an uphill battle just to qualify for the Champions League.
They trail Udinese by five points in the race for the third and final qualifying place while Inter Milan have closed to within one point behind.
Both Napoli and Roma, three points back, also won at the weekend meaning Lazio face even more competition.
It was a bad time to produce what Reja has already described as their worst performance in his time at the club.
"There are no excuses for the performance at Siena, you can't defend a performance of that level because we displayed an attitude that was beneath Lazio," he said.
"It's not down to certain individuals being responsible, we need to put this blip behind us and use this experience to return to being the Lazio we all know."
His players have a quick chance to put things right as they host Verona in the Italian Cup on Tuesday, and Reja says he won't be using the game to rest players.
"Tomorrow I will try to play the team best suited to progressing, that's what we want. Verona have good technique and are doing well in the league (Serie B), they can make life difficult."
