Ballardini admits transfer concern

Lazio coach Davide Ballardini has revealed his frustration at a lack of transfer activity from the Rome club during the first half of the winter transfer window.

Ballardini's side are languishing in the bottom half of the Serie A table and the under-pressure coach was hoping to significantly bolster his squad this month.

"I am a little concerned," he admitted.

"The market is proving to be a tricky one, but nevertheless we are in such a condition that changes must be made.

"I am aware that the club is doing its utmost and I hope to have further news in the coming days."
