New Signing

Lancaster City boss Phil Wilson has signed 20-year-old utility man George Melling from Clitheroe.

Melling, who can operate at right-back, centre-half or in midfield, played five games in the Conference earlier this season for Altrincham.

He goes straight into the City squad for tonights Conference North clash with Leigh RMI.

"George is a player I have been watching for a while," says Wilson.
