Burkina Faso international Charles Kabore is leaving French top flight side Marseille for Russia's Kuban Krasnodar, Marseille indicated Wednesday, saying agreement had been reached on a deal for the midfielder.

A club source said the Russians would pay one million euros for the services of the 25-year-old, who starred in his country's run to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this month.

The transfer window shuts in Russia next week.

Kabore joined Marseille from second division outfit Libourne in 2007 and was in the squad which won the title in 2010. He also lifted three French League Cups.

Marseille used the transfer window to sign two midfielders in Togolese international Jacques-Alayxis Romao from Lorient and Foued Kadir from Valenciennes.

Krasnodar currently sit fourth in the Russian table ahead of the post winter break resumption on March 10.
