North Korea coach Kim Jong-hun intends to keep faith with the players thrashed by Portugal for his side's final World Cup game against Ivory Coast.
The North Koreans are hoping to restore some pride after their 7-0 hammering on Monday as they bow out of the tournament in South Africa.
Meanwhile, the Ivory Coast need to win and overturn a ten-goal swing to qualify ahead of Portugal so Gervinho could feature after his impressive cameo in the 3-1 loss to Brazil.
However, Gervinho expects Brazil and Portugal to go full tilt at each other when they meet in their final Group G match.
There have been suggestions that Brazil coach Dunga might rest some of his key figures for the game in a bid to give fringe players a game.
But Gervinho said: "I do not think they will take the foot off the peddle. First, the Brazilian and Portuguese players will want to honour the opportunity to represent their respective countries.
"Then they will also be hoping to play a less powerful opponent in the second round."
After two defeats, North Korea have no chance of progressing from Group G but Kim is backing his players to deliver a good performance in Nelspruit.
He said: "The result of the Portugal game was not that good but I do not think that means major changes are necessary.
"There will not be major changes. We will continue in the same way we have done until now. If it is needed we will substitute players but we will look at the way our players are playing and conduct a normal game."
