Podolski's Juve talk cools

Rumours linking Koln's former Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski with a summer switch to Juventus have been quashed by the player's agent.

Reports in Germany had claimed the 24-year-old was at the top of Juve's summer wish-list but Kon Schramm told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "Juventus are interested? I don't read certain headlines and it was the German press who said that.

"I have not had any contact with Juventus and would prefer not to comment.

"I took care of Podolski's transfer from Bayern to Koln and he signed a long-term deal. His intention is to remain."
