Koln loan in Siena's Jajalo

Bundesliga outfit Koln have wrapped up the signing of Siena's Croatian midfielder Mato Jajalo on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old Under-21 international has only been in Italian football for one season, but has opted for a change of scenery already.

Koln general manager, Michael Meier, told the club's official website: "Mato is a valuable addition for us. He is very versatile across the midfield and has a good technique and is very comfortable on the ball.

"Furthermore, he has an excellent vision. Mato will settle in quickly because he is competent with the German language.

"He spent more than eight years of his youth in Germany."
