Koln Expect - Bayern are in town
Wednesday Nov 09 2005 00:00
Uwe Rapolder has the really hard task of changing luck after a run of five consecutive defeats when Bayern Munich come to koln this Saturday. But the under-fire manager is set for an easy day at the office with the visit of the record German champions making the task of motivating his players almost unnecessary its a cup final for them. "You dont have to do a lot to motivate your side for such a massive game," he revealed. Rapolder also hopes the RheinEnergie Stadium will be filled with true Koln supporters who will do their best to get the club out of their current crisis. "I hope they can harmonise with the players because the team needs the support from the fans especially with the talent that the visitors have." Rapolder needs the support of Lukas Podolski, who is struggling for form at the moment, but without any pressure with Imre Szabics out, will hold onto his place in the team anyway.
