Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies has handed Billy Thomson a part-time role to coach the club's goalkeepers.
Thomson was previously at Rangers where he was integral to Allan McGregor's development and takes on the coaching role at Rugby Park that was previously held by Jim Stewart, who is now at Ibrox.
Jefferies told the Daily Record: "When we lost Jim Stewart, Alan Combe had to take over but it's not easy to do that when you're playing. He knows he needs someone at him and coaching him.
"We're not in the position to bring in a full-time goalkeeping coach but Billy will be coming in a couple of days a week.
"He has a very good reputation and our keepers will benefit from working with him."
