Taouil takes Killie plaudits
17 Nov 2008 - 13:44:06
Kilmarnock midfielder Mehdi Taouil took the plaudits after helping his side to a 2-0 home victory over Dundee United at Rugby Park.
The 25-year-old Moroccan gave the Terrors defence a torrid 90 minutes and impressed Killie boss Jim Jefferies in the process.
He said: "Mehdi has fantastic skill. The United players were dizzy trying to do something about him.
"But it always happens here that you build a half-decent side and someone comes along for one of your best players. All I can say is it will take a really good offer to take Taouil away."
Taouil himself added: "I really like working with the manager and Billy Brown, his assistant.
"I feel very comfortable with them and that's why I signed a new contract with the club last summer."
