Sammon targets Killie goals

Kilmarnock striker Conor Sammon is confident that his side will get back among the goals in the near future, having failed to find the net in their last three SPL outings.

Next up for Killie is the visit of Aberdeen and Sammon is hopeful of helping his side get back on track.

He told the Daily Record: "The lads at the back have done very well and we have to look at the positives in that we kept clean sheets in the league in our last two games.

"The strikers are still very confident, despite not scoring in the last two SPL matches. We just need to keep our heads up.

"We've not had the breaks we'd have liked. We're not getting the bounce of the ball, but I think that will change quite soon. It's up to us to make sure it does.

"In the last few games if we'd had little breaks here and there it could have been so different."
