Rovers coach makes Killie move

Tranmere head of youth and centre of excellence manager Kenny Shiels is to leave Prenton Park to become assistant manager at Kilmarnock.[LNB] Shiels joined Tranmere in May 2007 having previously been Northern Ireland Under-17 coach.[LNB]Rovers boss Les Parry said: "I'm really sorry to see Kenny leave the club but this is too good an opportunity for him to turn down.[LNB]"He has been a valued member of the team in his three years here and he will be missed by everyone at the club.[LNB]"I wish him the best of luck in his new role. I will be sitting down with the board of directors to discuss the staffing structure in the near future."[LNB]Shiels said: "I'm sad to be leaving Tranmere but this is a really exciting opportunity for me."[LNB]
