Mixu wants more striking options

Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen was disappointed his side had suffered a second successive defeat at Motherwell, claiming his players deserved a draw for their efforts. He said he hopes to bring in another striker before the transfer window closes at the end of the month, but dismissed reports linking his club with former Rangers and Falkirk player Alan Gow. Paatelainen said: "We will hopefully find the striker that will enhance us - it's not easy because of the constraints that we have but hopefully one or two will materialise. "I haven't mentioned Alan Gow to anybody and I haven't spoken to the player, as far as I'm concerned we can't afford money to bring him here. "I felt Motherwell got out of jail and that we dominated from start to finish but we aren't scoring goals so the most important bit is missing."
