Mixu Paatelainen has pledged his future to Kilmarnock and distanced himself from speculation he is an early contender to manage Finland.[LNB] The Kilmarnock boss guided his side to a third straight 3-0 SPL victory as they outplayed Hamilton at Rugby Park courtesy of Ben Gordon's first goal for the club and a Conor Sammon double.[LNB]With Stuart Baxter having vacated the Finnish position in recent days, however, Paatelainen's work has seemingly not gone unnoticed.[LNB]Reports on Wednesday night indicated a representative from the Finnish FA was at the game, but Paatelainen played down the rumours post-match and outlined his commitment to Kilmarnock.[LNB]He said: "It absolutely flatters me, but that's all there is to it. I'm totally happy here. There's no point saying anything about it.[LNB]"I'm delighted here working my socks off with the boys and enjoying the good vein of form. Let's not destroy it.[LNB]"They [the Finnish FA] haven't asked anything so there's no point commenting."[LNB]Paatelainen wanted instead to focus on his team's impressive display after a repeat 3-0 scoreline of recent away trips to Hearts and St Johnstone.[LNB]He added: "Hamilton pressed us well at the start, but the movement from the boys was fantastic and we found holes.[LNB]"It's up to the boys to produce it every week now because they've set their standard here. There will be difficult days as well, we won't win 3-0 every week, but at the moment we should enjoy it."[LNB]Hamilton manager Billy Reid saw his side slide to the foot of the SPL after wins for Hibernian and St Mirren saw both teams overtake them, but he refused to be downcast.[LNB]Reid said: "I cannot influence results elsewhere and I've said to the players I can't fault their commitment, continue to do that and we'll be fine.[LNB]"You don't want to be bottom of the table, but we're Hamilton Accies, I realise the club I work at. I realise that every year we'll lose players, that's just the way it is here.[LNB]"My captain Alex Neil still hasn't started a game for us because of a hip injury and that's a big thing, as well.[LNB]"But I saw enough in how we played to be optimistic. Both teams passed the ball well and you don't see that every week in Scotland."
