Lilley commits to Killie

Kilmarnock defender David Lilley has pledged his future to the club by penning a new one-year deal at Rugby Park.

The 30-year-old former Aberdeen and Partick Thistle player, whose current contract was set to expire at the end of this season, also has the option of an additional 12 months on his deal.

Killie boss Jim Jefferies said: "It's great to have got David for next season. He's had his injury problems this season but since he came back into the team we have done a lot better."

Lilley has made 95 appearances for the club since his arrival at Rugby Park in January 2004.
