Kyle rules out Russia move

Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle has decided against a move to Russia, having played in a friendly for Spartak Nalchik last week.

The 28-year-old is out of contract with Killie in the summer, but is hoping to remain in Scotland rather than seeking a move abroad.

He told BBC Sport: "After spending a couple of days with the team I decided it wasn't for me. I don't think I would enjoy it.

"Kilmarnock have been very good in allowing me to go out and speak and they want me to go back out in the summer when I am out of contract. But I've decided it's not for me.

"I have a family and a kid to look after and you have to look into everything, but even if they offered me a hundred grand a week I would turn them down.

"I did not feel comfortable and despite only being away for two days, I just couldn't wait to get back to Scotland."
