Kyle eyes Scotland recall

Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle is hopeful of forcing his way back into the Scotland national team squad in the near future.

The 28-year-old has already notched six times for Killie this season, netting both goals in the weekend 2-1 victory over St Johnstone.

He told the Edinburgh Evening News: "I go out there to do my job, to score goals for Kilmarnock and try and help them win points.

"If I'm doing that, whatever comes with it is just a bonus. I've been picked for two squads, the second time after call-offs.

"If I get a call-up again, it's something that I'll look forward to and hopefully I can get involved if I get the opportunity."
