Kyle continuing to impress

Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle took the plaudits from manager Jim Jefferies after scoring both goals in a crucial 2-1 victory over St Mirren.

The 27-year-old took his tally to seven in 11 games for Killie, with Jefferies full of praise for the Scotland international.

He said: "He's playing against two tough defenders in there and he is always a constant threat.

"They must know when the ball's wide, they must know that when it does come in they're looking for him, they know he is going to be there or he is going to be hounding them.

"Even when it's played up to him he's got a good touch and he brings people into play.

"As you can see he has done a terrific job for us and we have got him for another year as well."
