Kyle committed to Killie

Scotland striker Kevin Kyle is determined to maintain the form he showed for Kilmarnock during the second half of last season.

The 28-year-old scored eight goals in 12 games for Killie and is adamant that he will not leave Rugby Park this summer.

He told the Daily Record: "There was some speculation about me moving on, but I'm enjoying my time here.

"When you're playing every week and doing well, the confidence comes back. I didn't have confidence for a long time, but it's back.

"I've got a year left with Kilmarnock and plan to do as well as I can for them.

"Jim Jefferies did me a favour and told me I'd play every week and I did what he asked by scoring goals.

"It has worked out well for both parties and we'll see what happens this year."
