Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies is pleased to have striker Kevin Kyle back in the reckoning for a starting spot this weekend.

The 28-year-old Scotland international appeared as a substitute in the midweek defeat to Hearts, having missed the 2-1 loss to St Mirren after undergoing minor cartilage surgery.

Jefferies aid ahead of the clash with Rangers: "He's back, he'll be in the side, but there'll be ten others with Kevin.

"He's not a one-man team because you've got to play well and you've got to defend well and you've got to create the opportunities for Kevin.

"But we know that when he's playing and it's in and around the box, we've got a better chance."
