Killie: No Naismith option

Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston claims the club had little choice but to allow Steven Naismith to join Rangers on deadline day.
The 21-year-old Scotland international finally completed a protracted move to Ibrox just minutes before the transfer window closed on Friday with Johnston claiming Killie had been forced into a corner.
Naismith had been expected to join the Gers at the beginning of the summer.
"He refused the offer of a new contract we made and at the same time told us he wasn't interested in moving to England for family reasons and didn't want to go to any other Scottish club," said Johnston.
"Under those circumstances we decided it was better to accept Rangers' offer than hold on to an unhappy player."
