Killie make Jefferies proud

Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies was pleased with the way his side played in the defeat to Celtic that sealed the SPL title for Gordon Strachan's side.
Only a last-gasp Shunsuke Nakamura free-kick clinched a 2-1 victory for the Bhoys, to leave Jefferies impressed with the Japanese star but proud of his players.
He said: "When they got the free-kick I feared he could do that because he's done it four or five times.
"You can do all you like in training, work on things to stop his free-kicks by having players moving slightly, but he can still do it.
"They've won the league with several games to spare, so of course they are worthy winners. It's been a struggle for them to cross the finishing line and it was a struggle for them today but congratulations to them.
"I was over the moon with how we played. They scored from a corner and a free-kick, but other than a Derek Riordan chance late on, I think we restricted them and had the better of the chances."
