Kilmarnock have snapped up some goalkeeping cover in the shape of Mark Brown from Celtic.

Number one Alan Combe has been ruled out for 10 weeks following hip surgery so manager Jim Jefferies swooped to sign Brown on deadline day.

"In Mark we have a player who has plenty of SPL experience," Jefferies told the club's official website.

"He has played in big games and will, along with Cameron Bell and Lee Robinson, provide cover for Alan."

The former Inverness keeper had been third choice at Parkhead behind Artur Boruc and Lukasz Zaluska.
