Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston has voiced his backing for Rugby Park boss Jim Jefferies, despite a season of struggles in the SPL.
Killie have won just seven of their 29 league games this term, while Jefferies is reported to be unhappy at being unable to bring in any new players in the January transfer window.
However, Johnston told the Daily Record: "I don't envisage any change in the management set-up. We both want to take the club forward.
"Jim is linked with other jobs when they become available, but that shows just how highly regarded he is.
"We increased the player budget last year by more than 30 per cent and I expect new players to arrive in the summer."
