Killie bring in three on loan

Kilmarnock bolstered their ranks with three loan signings before the winter transfer window closed on Monday night.

Former Scotland midfielder Scott Severin has joined newly-installed manager Jimmy Calderwood at Rugby Park from Watford.

The pair worked together at former club Aberdeen where Severin was installed as captain.

Severin has seen his career stall with the Hornets following his move south from Pittodrie last summer.

Meanwhile, defender Rob Kiernan has also joined the SPL club on loan from Watford and Aberdeen striker Chris Maquire has arrived on a deal until the end of the season.

"Everyone at the club extends a warm welcome to Scott, Rob and Chris and wishes them every success during their time at Rugby Park," read a brief club statement.
