Striker Kevin Kyle has revealed his delight at the prospect of being reunited with Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown at Hearts.[LNB] Kyle confirmed he has agreed to join the Jambos when his Kilmarnock contract expires this summer amid reports he had a medical on Thursday and was on the verge of finalising a deal.[LNB]The 28-year-old was brought to Killie by Jefferies in January last year, his goals almost single-handedly keeping them in the SPL. [LNB]Kyle, whose previous clubs include Sunderland and Coventry, told the Edinburgh Evening News: "I'm very happy.[LNB]"My family was the most important thing.[LNB]"I had offers elsewhere but my family has to come first at the end of the day. Hearts is a good club to go to and I can't wait to get started.[LNB]"I'm pleased to be meeting up with Jim and Billy again because they helped me a lot when I left Coventry.[LNB]"I went back up the road to Kilmarnock and had a good season and a half under them so it will be good to team up with them again. Hopefully I can do what I did for them at Kilmarnock."[LNB]Kyle would be Hearts' second new recruit for next season after Falkirk captain Darren Barr signed a pre-contract last term.[LNB]Meanwhile, the Jambos have confirmed a second Tynecastle pre-season friendly against Barclays Premier League opposition, with Blackburn due to visit Edinburgh in August.[LNB]Rovers will face Jefferies' men on Saturday, August 7 (kick-off 3pm), four days after Mick McCarthy brings his Wolves side to the Scottish capital.[LNB]"This is an excellent match for us, particularly with Wolves up here earlier that week," Jefferies told his club's official website, www.heartsfc.co.uk.[LNB]"It's a busy time for everyone but to have two English Premier League sides at Tynecastle within the space of a few days is great for the fans and will provide us with the just the sort of preparation we need before the season starts."[LNB]
