Jefferies sweating on Brown fitness

Lee Robinson is on stand-by after Cammy Bell was ruled out and on-loan Celtic player Mark Brown was hit by illness.[LNB]With Alan Combe still to return to training following hip surgery, 23-year-old Robinson could be the only senior keeper available.[LNB]"Mark Brown had a temperature on Wednesday and we sent him home," Jefferies said.[LNB]"He is slightly better today but he had to see his doc and we're waiting to see how he is.[LNB]"We're hoping he's going to be all right because Cammy Bell took a bad knock in a closed-door game and had to go to hospital slightly concussed.[LNB]"He looks like he could be ruled out for Saturday but as long as Mark is all right, we have back-up in Lee Robinson."[LNB]Kilmarnock received some good news off the park at their AGM last night when former chairman Jamie Moffat agreed to write off a £1.8million loan to the club if they find another guarantor on a £200,000 debt to the Bank of Scotland.[LNB]The loan was interest-free but its removal could help Killie in their bid to attract fresh investment.[LNB]However, the club still owe the bank a reported £9million and Jefferies will see no immediate impact on his decreasing playing budget.[LNB]"I don't think it's going to have any impact on our budgets," Jefferies said.[LNB]"It's just something on the balance sheet that shows that Jamie Moffat has made a great gesture to free up that money."[LNB]Jefferies revealed there had been no enquiries ahead of the transfer window but added: "There are no funds available. It would have to be one out, one in or two out and two in.[LNB]"But we won't be forcing anyone out. It will only be players we get enquiries for or if people chap my door saying they would like to go and get a regular game."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
