Hearts boss Jim Jefferies has no intention of resurrecting a move for Kilmarnock's Craig Bryson despite losing out on Paul Hartley.[LNB] Jefferies had wanted to add Hartley to his squad but the former Tynecastle midfielder signed a two-year contract with Aberdeen on Wednesday after his release from Bristol City.[LNB]However, Jefferies is adamant he will not be returning to his former club with an increased offer for highly-rated midfielder Bryson.[LNB]Killie chairman Michael Johnston refused a £375,000 offer from Hearts for the 23-year-old midfielder but Jefferies will not reignite negotiations[LNB]"It's Kilmarnock's prerogative to turn down the offer," Jefferies told Edinburgh Evening News.[LNB]"We've made the offer and the only way it can be resurrected is if we get word back that they would like to do a deal.[LNB]"The two clubs are well apart. If it can be resurrected it will have to be done from the Kilmarnock end.[LNB]"If not, it won't stop us looking at other options."[LNB]
