Invincibile set to boost Killie

Kilmarnock midfielder Danny Invincibile will return to training this week after being sidelined for around a month by a hamstring injury.

The 29-year-old Australian has not featured since the 3-1 CIS Insurance Cup defeat by Celtic at the end of October, but is expected back in action in the near future.

Killie boss Jim Jefferies told the Daily Record: "He's likely to be back with us this week.

"However, I'm not sure if Saturday's game at Hamilton will come too early for him or not. It will all depend on how he gets on when he steps his training up.

"Danny's been out for a good few weeks now and we've missed him, so it will be terrific to have him back."
